How did you get here? Down the old tank road? or round from Saunton Sands? I presume you thoroughly inspected the dunes! And did you look how the bridge was getting on?
We went along the toll road from Braunton.
We had a quick walk across the Burrows, but Hels was flagging by that point. We plan to go back on another day, as I’d particularly like to see the spring flowers on the dunes – there are a number of species there that are not so common in other habitats.
We couldn’t see much of the bridge – I think it needs to grow a bit more yet.
