WoW!! I am very thankful!! You just brought me my old psc2110 back to life. It's a shame that I didn't find this before and the carridges dried up a little bit, haha.

For the cleaning I used those Cleaning Tissues you said and a cleaning solution that I have for my DSLR camera. I used it for the glass, mirror and lamp and everything went perfect.

Once again THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! ;^)

Further update: we now sub the margarine with butter, and tend to use mostly organic ingredients. We've also found that rum can be used instead of sherry - though I think sherry is better.

The IOC doesn't advocate it being a national-level competition, as I understand it - their philosophy is that it's a competition between athletes, not countries. Hence any sensible solution for the scoring at the national level. I like your points scheme.

I am also happy you and the blog are still alive!

discard the pulp. It almost seems a shame to waste it, so if anyone has a suggestion for uses for the pulp, let me know.

That is a waste. I take the pulp and add just enough Creme soda to make it thick but stir-able. Cook this only until the first bubbles appear on top. Push this mixture through a wire strainer so all skin and seeds are trapped, but the pulp is pushed through. Add sugar (to taste) and you have some very delicious apple sauce. You can add cinnamon or any variety of other ingredients, but I find the creme soda makes a slight but wonderful vanilla hint taste. Can the results and anjoy.

I think I'd need to see it in situ to know for certain what I think. Gut feeling is I don't think much of it but suspect in it's location might well work. I shall check if ever I find myself in Hastings.
