The Patents County Court offers a quick and specialized court service for IP disputes, but seems to cover only UK PVRs, not Cpommunity PVRs, which is a glaring omission. A new fast-track service for small claims is about to be introduced.

BBC News – Maastricht bans cannabis coffee-shop tourists
I think it’s easy to overstate the number of drug tourists in Maastricht. The cafes are concentrated in a couple of areas (and some have been moved by authorities to the edge of town) and the city doesn’t have an all-pervasive drug culture – certainly much less than some other Dutch cities (including Amsterdam). But the vast majority are German or Belgian, so I’m not sure this ban is really going to make a whole heap of difference.

Mum is finding the blue (extra strong) to be useful for her hands – a combination of arthritis and MND. We might get a tub for H’s Dad and possibly also for H, as she is still suffering after her arm fracture at the turn of the year. NB – cheaper on Amazon.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 official: Tegra 2, Honeycomb, dual cameras (hands-on with video) — Engadget
Hmm. Given the teething problems with early Notion Ink Adams, not to mention the clearly-flaky customer service and support, this might be the more sensible purchase. I’ll only have to wait until next month. Of course, whilst the carrier (Vodafone – ugh – no reception here in Ruralville) has been announced, the price is still a mystery.

BBC News – In pictures: Rodchenko and his Circle
More images. The large aircraft in the third image is the Tupolev ANT-20 “Maxim Gorky” which crashed shortly after the photo was taken following a mid-air collision. It must have been quite something to see.
