Already there

I’ve just ordered Hels’s wedding present. The item that I want is still in stock, much to my huge relief. I’m not sure if it is customary for the bride and groom to buy each other gifts, but we thought that it would be a rather nice thing to do – the wedding gift lists are full of more mundane items, such as an iron, plates, cutlery, saucepans and pillows, so it seems nice to purchase some real "gifty" gifts for each other.
I really should get Hels to put some CDs and books of her own choosing onto my Amazon wishlist, which needs updating anyway.

Your wishlist link here over to the right hand side and the is wrong. It must be to the editing page because I arrive at my own cobweb strewn wishlist. What was I thinking sticking that on?. Anyway I should log out by clicking ‘no I’m not really Graybo’ on the front page and then click ‘wish list’ and search for yourself and post that link instead.

I apologise for the first sentence above. Rearrange the words until they make some sence!

Does anyone buy you stuff from your wishlist – people that don’t know you personally, that is?

Goodness! What an idea! If you want to start buying me things, feel free.
In all seriousness, I think only two or three gifts have ever come from strangers. Everything else (and it isn’t much) has come from people I know.

Yep, I believe it is customary for the bride and groom to buy each other gifts. At least, maybe not so much customary, but it’s certainly the done thing these days. Anyway, it’s a highly romantic, I think :)
